Olivier Appert
Olivier Appert, born in 1949, has been Chairman and CEO of the French Institute of Petroleum (IFP) since 2003.
He had held before various executive positions in development, strategy and management at the International Energy Agency, IFP and IFP’s subsidiaries, as well as in the private sector as a Vice President of the Philips Group.
He also served in French ministries as Executive Director of the French Industry Minister and a member of the Prime Minister cabinet.
Olivier is an engineer of Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Mines.
