Milton joined the WCI as Chief Executive in January 2005.
Until 2004, he was Chief of Partnerships & Public Affairs with the UN Environment Programme (UNEP).
Prior to that, among several positions with departments of the Australian Prime Minister and Cabinet, he was the chief negotiator for Australia on both the Kyoto Protocol and the Montreal Protocol.
Milton has a Master in Public Policy. He has received Awards for his environmental work from Australia (2001), the USA (2003) and the United Nations (2007).
