Mark Demchuk is Team Lead of EnCana Corporation’s Weyburn Business Unit, a technology driven business that is both Canada’s largest enhanced oil recovery project as well as the world’s largest CO2 geological storage.
Mark began his professional career in 1984 by joining PanCanadian Energy Corp., EnCana’s predecessor. He took positions in the fields of engineering, operations and business in both the upstream (oil/gas) and downstream aspects of EnCana’s business until he was appointed Team Lead of EnCana's Power Business Unit, his previous position.
Mark Demchuk holds a B.Sc. (Chemical Engineering) from the University of Calgary.
