Takuya Ono is Senior Manager of Global Marketing Division of JGC Yokohama, Manager of Advanced Fuels Technology Department of Engineering Division and Chief Engineer of Gasification.
Takuya started his career within JGC Corporation as a process engineer, then became a project engineer and a project engineering manager. He has contributed to projects of petroleum refining, natural gas, chemical, CO2 capture, biomass utilization and gasification/IGCC/GTL, notably, from 1997 to 2002, as engineering manager of the Negishi IGCC Project.
Born in 1958, he graduated with a master degree in Chemical Environmental Engineering at the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1984. He has studied as a visiting scholar at University of Houston, USA.
Takuya is a member of the Society of Chemical Engineering, Japan as a Senior Professional Chemical Engineer.
