Sam Tabak is currently Licensing Executive at ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company.
Dr. Tabak joined Mobil Corporation in 1976 to work in Exploratory Research after receiving his PhD in Chemical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. In 1986, after several project development assignments, Dr. Tabak became Manager of Exploratory Process Research at the Paulsboro Research Laboratory.
In 1989 he moved to a planning assignment, after which he held several management positions in both the Research and Engineering Departments until 1997, when he became manager of Corporate Risk Management. Following the ExxonMobil merger in 1999, Dr. Tabak moved to his current position in Technology Licensing.
Dr Tabak has over 100 patents and publications in the areas of catalysis, zeolite chemistry, process development and process design.
