General Information

Paris and the Conference Venue

Located at the crossroads of Europe, Paris is one of the premier cities in the world for conferences and exhibitions. List of participants

A list of participants is included in your conference bag. An addendum listing with the late and on-site registrants will be made available at the conference Welcome Desk on Friday 4th April noon.

Proceedings

The conference proceedings will be available on www.world-ctl2008.com. Each participant will receive by email an access code and will be able to download the proceedings, free of charge.

Conference reception

The Conference Reception is held on Thursday 3rd April 2008 at 6:00 pm within the exhibition area. Attendees, spouses and exhibitors are cordially invited to join.

Carbon footprint

The total carbon footprint of World CTL 2008 will be assessed by application of the Bilan Carbone© method developed by ADEME, the French Environment & Energy Management Agency. The result of this assessment will be made available to the Conference delegates. Bilan Carbone© takes into account all the greenhouse gases listed in the Kyoto Protocol (CO2, CH4, N2O, halocarbons) emitted as a result of the Conference, such as delegates' travels, food preparation and air conditioning.

All speakers are requested to deposit and check their Powerpoint presentation at the Preview Room located in Jacob Room (near the conference room). It is open at following times:

  • Wednesday, 2nd April 2008 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
  • Thursday, 3rd April 2008 from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
  • Friday, 4th April 2008 from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm

Official language

The official Conference language is English.

Cellular phones

Participants are kindly requested to turn off their mobile phones when entering the conference room.
